The Family History Game

You can play this family history game on your own to see how much you know, or with your family to share stories that often go untold.

We made this game to help you find family stories before they fade away, share your history with children, and have fun testing what you know. If you can’t answer a question, it just means there’s a new story to uncover.

There’s no setup or preparation needed, and you don’t need a family tree. Just gather everyone, pick a card, and see how much your family remembers about its past.

Memories Fade

Discoveries may be forgotten

Your conversation may have uncovered family history that others hadn’t heard before. But if you don’t save it, those details could be lost.

Over time, the memories of your family’s storytellers will fade. Since you never know how long you have, it’s best to act quickly to keep these stories safe.

Unanswered Questions

Someone knows the answers. Who's asking?

The questions you couldn’t answer aren’t lost forever.

Someone in your family probably knows the answer. Maybe an aunt remembers, a cousin has a photo, or a grandparent knows the whole story. But if no one asks, those answers stay hidden until it’s too late.

Save Stories

A permanent home for precious family stories

Simirity’s where stories from this game can be saved forever.

Instead of a note lost in your phone or a file you might forget about, you get a private family journal where every story, photo, and memory is kept safe for the next generation.

Here’s how it looks in practice.
